Jake Faun gitáros az angliai Guildfordban született, de 2019 óta Los Angelesben él. Olyan előadókkal turnézott már együtt, mint a Winger zenekar, vagy a Van Halen énekese, David Lee Roth.
Guitarist Jake Faun was born in Guildford, England, but has lived in Los Angeles since 2019. He has been going on tour with artists such as Winger or Van Halen’s singer, David Lee Roth.
Mi, magyarok irigyelhetjük őt ezért, ugyanis sem a Van Halen zenekar, sem David Lee Roth nem koncertezett még soha Magyarországon. Csupán Eddie Van Halen fia, Wolfgang Van Halen járt Budapesten, és fel is lépett 2022-ben.
Jake Faun otthonosan mozog sokféle műfajban, a hard rocktól és a metáltól kezdve a komolyzenéig, a country/soul-ig. Saját YouTube csatornáján 55 különböző zenei stílusú videója található meg.
Gitártanár, zeneszerző, producer és számos előadó felvételén közreműködött már, például Selena Gomez Ring, valamint Rare című dalaiban is hallhatjuk őt gitározni.
Led Zeppelin újragondolva
Tagja az UnZepped nevű együttesnek. Ő és kollégái Led Zeppelin-dalokat hangszerelnek újra és adnak elő. Zenéjükben ötvözik az amerikai bluest az angol folkkal. Az erőteljes énekszólamot hegedű, mandolin, akusztikus gitárok, basszusgitár és többféle egzotikus ütőhangszer kíséri. A zenekar tagjai: Adi Argelazi (ének/ fuvola), Chuck Wright (basszusgitás), Jake Faun (gitár), Scott Breadman (útóhangszer), Matthew Hevesh (hegedű, mandolin, gitár).
Jake Faun felvételeit a YouTube-on találtam, amikor anyagot gyűjtöttem a Miskolci Egyetem egyik tanórájára készülő projekthez. Nagyon tetszik a gitárjátéka. Örülne a magyar közönség is, ha Jake egyszer eljönne Budapestre, és itt játszana. Ebben biztos vagyok.

People here in Hungary may envy him for the work with David, because neither the band Van Halen nor singer David Lee Roth have ever performed in Hungary. Only Eddie Van Halen’s son, Wolfgang Van Halen, visited Budapest and gave a concert too in 2022 in our country.
Jake Faun is conversant in many genres, from hard rock and metal to classical music, to country/soul. His YouTube channel contains 55 videos of different musical styles.
He is a guitar teacher, composer, producer, and has contributed to the recordings of many artists, so we can hear him playing guitar in Selena Gomez‘s songs „Ring” and „Rare”.
Led Zeppelin & UnZepped
He is a member of the band UnZepped. He and his colleagues re-arrange and perform Led Zeppelin’s songs. Their music combines American blues and English folk. Violin, mandolin, acoustic guitars, bass guitar and various exotic percussion instruments accompany the powerful vocals.
Members of UnZepped are: Adi Argelazi (vocals/ flute), Chuck Wright (fretless bass), Jake Faun (guitar), Scott Breadman (percussion), Matthew Hevesh (violin, mandolin, guitar).
I found Jake Faun’s recordings on YouTube when I was collecting material for class’ project at the University of Miskolc. I really liked his guitar playing. Jake would give joy to the Hungarian audience too, if Jake came to Budapest one day and played for them.
I am sure enough of it.
